Hi,
I want to travel with my family to Cape Trib in July 07 - we have hired a 6 berth. Will we be ok to get across the ferry and up the road ok? I keep looking at different sites and am worried the vehicle might be too big. Also, where can we park up for the night?
Will we be able to push on to Cooktown in this vehicle, or is the track not big enough? We are desperate to see your part of the world, but need some solid advice.
Thanks
Joe |

I'm not sure how large a 6-berth vechile is as I'm not a caravaner, but the tour companies routinely take 22-seat buses to Cape Tribulation, so I suspect that you should be ok.
To push on north to Cooktown - No!, its 4wd only past Cape Tribulation. However, you can go back to Mossman and take the inland road to Cooktown. |
