Planning a trip to Cooktown towards the end of April.

You should be okay - But it just depends on the amount of rainfall imediately prior to your trip. Some of the creek crossings can be too deep to cross after a heavy rain - but they usually come down fairly quickly.
Of coarse you know that 4wd is necessary on the Bloomfield Track in all weather conditions.
RACQ will be able to advise you as you get closer to your departure.
