I really need some help if anyone can give it. i've got and assignment where i need to "evaluate the strategies that have been in place to preserve the daintree rainforest"

but i can't do this without information, which i can find anywhere on the internet.

can anyone tell me some of the strategies used to preserve and stop the threats to the area?

so far all i've got is:

"One of the latest political policy initiatives aimed at saving the Daintree Rainforest by the government purchasing purchase freehold blocks of land in the area and returns them to national park status, therefore no development can take place on these sites."
